Sheila Whyte, Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner and Medical Director, Modern Skin and Aesthetics

With over 20 years of experience as a board-certified nurse practitioner, Sheila brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Modern Skin and Aesthetics. She began her journey at Creighton University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in nursing. After a decade of dedicated service as a nurse, Sheila pursued further education at the Medical University of South Carolina, achieving her graduate degree as a nurse practitioner.

Throughout her career, Sheila has made significant contributions in various clinical settings, including the emergency departments at Iowa Methodist and Iowa Lutheran. Her extensive experience in these high-pressure environments has honed her clinical skills and deepened her understanding of diverse medical conditions.

In addition to her emergency medicine background, Sheila has worked at The Iowa Clinic and in family practice settings, where she developed a keen interest in dermatology. Collaborating closely with dermatology specialists, she has gained invaluable insights into a wide range of dermatological conditions.

As the Medical Director at Modern Skin and Aesthetics, Sheila oversees Katie Rand, LE, whose skills in esthetics complement Sheila's expertise. Together, they are committed to providing comprehensive, client-centered care in the ever-evolving field of skin health.
